Created by us at Seahorse from our original animal drawings, our Childhood Memories boxes are ideal to keep all those special little mementos and keepsakes, from a tiny sock to a special photograph. They also make a lovely Christmas present for a newborn and their Mum. Our beautiful boxes feature some very cute animals in gentle colours and your choice of name, date or special message.

Our boxes are hand-printed or engraved to order so each is truly unique. They have hinged lids.

Please note we are now moving to a new style for all of our 3 box sizes - the new stock boxes are made from paler poplar wood and have a silver front catch. The lids are made from sections of solid poplar wood (rather than limewood in previous boxes). They are glued and sanded to a smooth finish perfect for printing on. As a natural wood product there can be small variations in grain and shade, and with knots and other natural marks visible. Any ribbon or other 'dressing' shown in in the pictures are for illustration purposes only - this is not included with the box.

Choose from four beautiful animal prints - elephant, pony, baby giraffe or seal. Each can come in a lovely detailed engraved version or a printed version, both with your choice of text.

Please note that as these boxes are made from naturally sourced poplar wood, there may be some naturally occurring markings in the wood on some boxes. Our new stock of boxes (from a UK supplier) have chrome plated silver catches on the front
